Feature Fridays: Live Below the Line

So, I got this email in my inbox today:

Massive news. Tonight at 6pm, Channel 10’s The Project is featuring Live Below the Line. They’ll be profiling a dietitian, hosting a celebrity Live Below the Line cook off, and talking to the team behind this year’s campaign.

This is just the first in a series of national profiles for our campaign, which will all go to air in the next fortnight – putting Live Below the Line in front of 500,000 Australians.

Media is taking notice for one reason: we’re growing fast.

In fact, in the last week alone we’ve raised $100,000 to help break the poverty cycle in countries like Papua New Guinea, and over 4,400 people have now joined the Live Below the Line movement.

To keep our momentum going we want to announce that we’ve reached 5,000 community members by the time we go to air on The Project, tonight.

Amy , we’re less than two weeks away: will you sign up to Live Below the Line this year? Use this link:

If we reach 5,000 community members by tonight, we’ll be on track for the biggest Live Below the Linecampaign yet.

We’ll be able to secure more media – raising more awareness about extreme poverty, reaching more Australians, signing up more people and raising more funds.

We’re not greedy. We’re not interested in growing for the sake of growing.

Live Below the Line is taking off, and as we continue to reach out to more Australians, thousands of young people in communities like Yangis and Kumbaretta, Papua New Guinea, will receive the education they deserve.

This campaign makes a real difference – I’ve seen it with my own eyes.

More and more people are jumping on board, Australians are changing the way they think about this issue and the media is taking notice because of it. The movement is building, but we can’t stop here.

Will you sign up to Live Below the Line today, and help us reach 5,000 community members by tonight?

With thanks,

Dan, Live Below the Line Coordinator

Maybe you’d like to join or support others doing it?

♥ Ames
